1Now in the firstyearof Cyruskingof Persia, that the wordof the LORDby the mouthof Jeremiahmight be fulfilled, the LORDstirred upthe spiritof Cyruskingof Persia, that he made a proclamationthroughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2Thus saithCyruskingof Persia, The LORDGodof heavenhath givenme all the kingdomsof the earth; and he hath chargedme to buildhim an houseat Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3Who is there among you of all his people? his Godbe with him, and let him go upto Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and buildthe houseof the LORDGodof Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
4And whosoever remainethin any placewhere he sojourneth, let the menof his placehelphim with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offeringfor the houseof God that is in Jerusalem.
5Then rose upthe chiefof the fathersof Judahand Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spiritGodhad raised, to go upto buildthe houseof the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
6And all they that were aboutthem strengthenedtheir handswith vesselsof silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
7Also Cyrusthe kingbrought forththe vesselsof the houseof the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzarhad brought forthout of Jerusalem, and had putthem in the houseof his gods;
8Even those did Cyruskingof Persiabring forthby the handof Mithredaththe treasurer, and numberedthem unto Sheshbazzar, the princeof Judah.
9And this is the numberof them: thirtychargersof gold, a thousandchargersof silver, nineand twentyknives,
10Thirtybasonsof gold, silverbasonsof a second sort fourhundredand ten, and othervesselsa thousand.
11All the vesselsof goldand of silver were fivethousandand fourhundred. All these did Sheshbazzarbring up with them of the captivitythat were brought upfrom Babylonunto Jerusalem.
