30 And he took the crown of their king from his head. The weight of it was a talent[1] of gold, and in it was a precious stone, and it was placed on David’s head. And he brought out the spoil of the city, a very great amount.

New International Version

30 David took the crown from their king’s[1] head, and it was placed on his own head. It weighed a talent[2] of gold, and it was set with precious stones. David took a great quantity of plunder from the city

New International Reader’s Version

30 David took the gold crown off the head of the king of Ammon. Then the crown was placed on David’s head. The crown weighed 36 kilograms. It had jewels in it. David took a huge amount of goods from the city.

King James Version

30 And he took their king' crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David' head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
